Thank you for choosing Scottie's Hair Gallery as your braid service provider. We are a professional braid salon committed to delivering exceptional results. My name is Shannon and I look forward to servicing you!

PLEASE CALL BEFORE BOOKING 224-572-0167

1.PLEASE CALL OR TEXT FOR ALL APPOINTMENTS (No DMs). Call times: Monday-Saturday from 8 am through 6 pm. NO CALLS ON SUNDAY. I like to discuss hair types, length and services verbally.

 

2. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required via CashApp for all appointments. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

3.Your deposit goes towards your service.

4.Your deposits cannot be transferred to another appointment. If you miss your appointment, the deposit is non-refundable. Deposits are only returned if there is an error on my behalf.

​

5.Deposit can only be sent via CashApp or in person at the salon (no Zelle or Apple Pay)

​

6.Remaining balance is due IN CASH only.

​

7.I do not service small children. Must be 12 and up.

​

8. You must cancel at least 24 hours before your service is scheduled. If you do not cancel within 24 hours, you will not be able to schedule again or reschedule. 

Client's Expectations:

1.PLEASE BE ON TIME! If you are more than 15 minutes late you will be cancelled and your deposit is non-refundable.

​

2.NO CALL, NO SHOW. You cannot reschedule or REBOOK.

​

3.You cannot change your style once in the chair.

​

4. NO CHILDREN OR EXTRA PEOPLE ALLOWED with you while being serviced.

​

5.Parents. please pick your children when service is complete. You will not be able to reschedule if you continue to have prolonged pick-ups.

​

6.A confirmation text will be sent to each client after a deposit is paid with date, time, remaining balance, and salon address.

​

7.If you have to leave the salon FOR ANY REASON prior to your service being complete (run to car, smoke, grab food, etc.), you must pay in full before leaving the salon. 

​

8.Hair is not provided. I will inform you what brand of hair to buy once the deposit is paid in full.

 

If you prefer I provide the hair, you must pay a $25 fee added onto your service.

​

9. LATE POLICY: 15 min late or more, appointment is cancelled.

​

10. NO CALL NO SHOW NO = NO RE-BOOKING

​

Hair prep

1.Hair must be at 3-4 inches long to receive a service. Shorter hair is harder to grip, thus causing tension while braiding. Preservation of your real hair is my first concern! If you feel your hair is not long enough, please send a pic for verification.

​

2.If you have any scalp conditions such as Alopecia or hair loss, please let me know upon consultation. Depending on the severity of the issue I might not be able to service you. Please send pics for verification.

​

3.You must be washed and blow dried straight before service. 

​

4.Heat Advisory: I may have to lightly flat iron your ends before braiding after it has been blow dried straight. There is no charge for this service.
